We established With The Grain Timber Floors in 2001 with a focus on giving our customers reliable, honest & positive service.
We are a small, family owned and operated business on the Sunshine Coast with over 20 years of  industry experience in flooring. Our aim is to offer the kind of service we would expect to receive ourselves. ​Our services include supply, installation, sanding and sealing of timber floors for homes and commercial premises on the Sunshine Coast.

What We Do

​

Offering a wide range of timber flooring products, we service the Sunshine Coast as well as Gympie and North Brisbane. Our products include engineered floating flooring, traditional tongue-and-groove timber flooring, bamboo flooring, parquetry flooring as well as cork. We offer our services both domestically and commercially, and are happy to work with builders and architects as well as insurance works. 

For sanding & sealing, we offer a variety of finishes and primarily work with water-based finishes and hard wax oil. We love these finishes because our focus is on reducing toxic chemicals in our homes and our aim is to be as environmentally friendly as possible. We also have experience with, and are willing to work with, other products such as solvent-based finishes if that is your preference.

We do not use sub-contractors and take pride in our impeccable workmanship. Our contact within the industry is maintained through our alliance with the Australian Timber Flooring Association. We have long-standing relationships with our suppliers and have been involved in the flooring industry for over 20 years. We prefer to work with premium manufacturers of flooring products and believe this is a testament to our success and the hundreds of happy clients we have had over the years who continue to refer us for years to come.
